Nuva BV (“Nuva”, “we”) operates nuva.be and the Nuva landing site. This page explains what data we collect, why, and how you can control it. We are a Brussels-based studio and comply with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
What we collect
When you visit the site we log standard request metadata (IP address, user agent, referrer) in short-lived server logs. When you submit the contact form, we store the name, email, and message you provide. When you accept the cookie banner, we load Google Analytics which sets analytics cookies to measure aggregate traffic.
Why we collect it
Request logs are used to diagnose outages and abuse. Contact form submissions are used to reply to you and, if a project begins, to set up an engagement. Analytics are used to understand which pages and sections readers find useful. We do not sell or share personal data with third parties for advertising.
Cookies
By default we set no tracking cookies. If you accept the cookie banner, Google Analytics sets first-party cookies (_ga, _ga_*) to distinguish visitors. You can reject at any time by clicking “Reject” in the banner — no analytics cookies are then written.
Your rights
Under GDPR you can request access, correction, or deletion of any personal data we hold about you. Email hello@nuva.be with your request and we will respond within 30 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit.be).
